Club NXT U19 secured a spot in the next round of the UEFA Youth League after a particularly handsome 3-2 victory against AS Monaco U19. Blue-Black had to go deep, because after a disappointing start, the team was facing a 0-2 deficit. Just before halftime Lund Jensen scored the tying goal and the game was back in the open.
With renewed energy, Club NXT U19 came out of the locker room strong. An alert start resulted in a quick penalty, coolly converted by Goemaere for the 2-2. The decisive moment later followed again through Lund Jensen, who tied the 3-2 final score with his second goal, giving Club a ticket to the next round.

Draw for the round of 16
The draw for the eighth finals (Feb. 24-25), quarter-finals (March 17-18) and semi-finals (April 17), all one match just like the sixteenth finals, will take place on Friday afternoon, Feb. 6, at 1 p.m. at UEFA headquarters in Nyon. That is when Club NXT U19 will find out who it may face, as well as where and when that next European assignment is scheduled.
On the morning of the draw, from 8:30 a.m., UEFA will announce exactly how the draw will proceed: which teams are seeded, which teams are not, whether certain rules or classifications apply and how everything is drawn technically.
