Tian Nai Koren (16) has extended his contract with Blauw‑Zwart through 2029 and will join Club Brugge’s first team. The Slovenian attacking midfielder transferred from NK Maribor to Club NXT U23 last summer.
Koren made 33 appearances for Blauw-Zwart last season, spread across two leagues. With Club NXT U23, he played 22 matches in the Challenger Pro League, scoring 1 goal and providing 2 assists. He also made 11 appearances in the UEFA Youth League with Club NXT U19, scoring 2 goals and providing 2 assists. During that European campaign, Tian was part of the team that reached the final week in Lausanne and finished the competition with a silver medal.
These achievements coincided with his first call-up to the Slovenian national team. In June 2026, Koren—as the youngest Slovenian player ever—made his debut for the senior national team during a friendly against Cyprus.
Tian has now extended his contract with Club Brugge through 2029.
