More than 60 youngsters gathered today at the Jan Breydel Stadium with the same goal: to add the first EA FC Young Blues Cup to their record of achievements. A successful first edition received a haunting finale. The result was clear: XXX is the first EA FC Young Blues champion!
It was sweating in the Jan Breydel Stadium. For once not on the grass, but on the virtual fields of FC24. More than 60 youngsters gave the best of themselves. The stakes were not minus: a signed away shirt from this season, a goodie bag from Kinepolis, 2 movie tickets and a Roblox voucher to claim the away shirt in-game.
On, but also alongside the Playstation 5, the action was high level. VR Base gave us the ultimate VR experience along the sidelines, Nordin Jackers and Kyriani Sabbe came to encourage our youngsters, eSporter and Belgian champion Rudi Ekmen was challenged, ... Everything was present to make it an unforgettable day.
The proud winner of the first edition was XXX. We wish him a big congratulations from all of Club Brugge!
