Ferran Jutglà was born in the Spanish municipality of Sant Julià de Vilatorta. At the soccer club of the same name, he started his career but soon made the move to Vic Riuprimer. There he was noticed by RCD Espanyol, who brought him to their youth academy in 2012. After loan spells to Valencia FC, among others, he became captain of Espanyol's B team in the 2019-2020 season.
In June 2021, he made the switch to FC Barcelona. There he originally played for the B team, but in December of that year he became part of coach Xavi Hernandez's selection for the first time. In this match against CA Osasuna, he also made his first playing minutes. In the Maradona Cup against Boca Juniors, he managed to find the goal for the first time.
In the 2021-2022 season, the striker scored 19 goals in 32 matches in the Primera Federación. Jutglà was also able to leave a positive impression in La Liga with his first goal on Dec. 18, 2021.
Since the 2022-2023 season, he traded the Spanish sun for the Belgian league and signed a four-year contract with Blauw-Zwart. Jutglà is also a Catalan international.
