The 18-year-old Belgian goalkeeper with French roots began his career in 2015 at the youth academy of Excelsior Mouscron. After a year of playing in Belgium, he moved to Wasquehal in northern France. He spent two years there before joining the U17 team of Paris Saint-Germain. Maton joined Club NXT U23 in the summer of 2021.
